Work to play fashion

My job is to give you that balance from work to play, whatever the profession; 7 days a week you can turn work wear into a great outfit for a night out, whether you work in a casual environment or a corporate office. Turn that day look into the night look right through the season; with a New Year shine with a new you.
What better way to start than kitting yourself out with some winter colluding spring summer fashion staples. The first instalment from my column will be geared towards the office worker; more variety than suited corporate stiffs but always smartly dressed.
The fundamentals to looking great are to focus on:
- Your body shape (the four main shapes are: hourglass, pear, apple and straight or banana).
- Your 5 day a week profession
- Your 7 day a week lifestyle.
Don't feel put off by accessorising and looking unprofessional, having the total package is what will get you noticed, intelligence, competence and style. Embrace your differences, use them as an advantage, a unique selling point for yourself and I'm sure you'll find confidence will lead to success in all walks of life.
When its time to clock out, the first steps to the transformation is to swap the work top with a bold coloured fitted t-shirt or simple white vest with button detail. Alternatively keep the blouse if it has a pussy bow, or if it's a shirt make it a high collar shirt and take the buttons down one or two and roll the sleeves up masculine style.
I stress keep the Bridget Jones underwear on the bottom, control where it counts but wear a fancy bra with leopard print or lace, only one set of boobs please. Wearing sexy underwear that fits right is definitely a confidence booster.
Whether you are wearing skirts or trousers, formalwear can be transformed flawlessly. With trousers, slouchy tailoring is a must have this season, found in every high street store with a formalwear department.
Slouchy tailoring makes the look masculine chic, with 1940's pleats and a wide leg. High waisted trousers also work well for sophistication and style.
For the petit and long limbed ladies alike the wide leg adds volume to your shape and curvy ladies it conceals those parts you would rather weren't there, working wonders for the body's proportions.
