‘EDINBURGH FINANCIAL RECRUITERS ACHIEVE A NOTABLE “FIRST” IN FINANCIAL ADVISER AWARDS

Edinburgh-based Keillar Resourcing, a specialist financial services recruiter, has been crowned the UK’s best small financial recruitment agency.

At the Financial Adviser Sales Awards 2006 held in the Brewery, London, the company which is a member of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) was the recipient of the first ever award for the Best Small Financial Services Recruitment Consultancy in the UK.

The company's Managing Director Harris Keillar was presented with the award by comedian Dominic Holland who was hosting the ceremony.

Harris put their success down to being honest with both candidates and clients, offering good advice to both over a long period of time. “One of our clients called to congratulate us on the award and reminded us that this award was given by our peers, which makes it even more special, ” he said.

The company based in Edinburgh, celebrated its recent 10th birthday by taking over another firm and buying new offices in the New Town from where it will continue to service its clients in Scotland, the UK, Middle and Far East, Europe and Australia.

Harris, who is a Fellow of the REC, added:

“We are still very much a small company but with big aspirations. We only have five members of staff, but we pride ourselves on being able to develop best practice within the industry particularly in assisting our client companies with their expansion plans.”
